For years advertising agencies have gladly taken money from business owners, with a hit or miss situation. If you asked the agency to track their results to see how effective their campaign really is, they would do anything to avoid your request. Yet by using Internet marketing methods, your results can change every 15 minuets.
A much more cost effective method is to go to the market with your product or service and find out by simple A B split testing which headline is the winner and which one you should dump. Using Google's Internet marketing system, adwords, you can determine and track where and who your customers are.
Other costly mistakes can include massive colour ads in the yellow pages, with little or no benefits to the end user. Internet marketing can be alot more interactive than using just a static newspaper or magazine ad. So use your offline marketing to draw people to your web site with a compelling headline or offer. Once on your site, your clients can get a lot of useful information from your business. So measure your offline costs ands results and compare them to your Internet marketing results, you may be surprised.
